Choosing your next travel destination is often easier said than done. There are many factors to consider, such as your budget, your remaining vacation leaves, and your purpose for traveling. If you’re finding it hard to decide, ask yourself the following questions: “Are there affordable plane tickets to and from this country?” “Can I afford the daily expenses?” “Do I have the time for a long-haul flight or should I go somewhere near?”

There’s an Asian destination that fits the bill for most travelers: Bali. Why? It’s budget-friendly, it’s only a few hours away from Manila, and it’s teeming with attractions worth seeing!

Whether you’re a water baby or not, we highly suggest you pay Bali a visit on your next out-of-town trip. Read further to find out some of the spots you shouldn’t sleep on when you stop by this famous Indonesian island.

1. Seminyak Beach

Seminyak is undeniably one of the most Insta-famous beaches in Bali. For starters, its tan sand and blue waters make for the perfect background for photos. It’s also home to some of the most beautiful restaurants, cafes, and dessert places in the island like Motel Mexicola, Kynd Community, and Mad Pops. If you like partying, this beach also has pool bars that serve cocktails and bar chow all day!

2. Kuta Beach

Not far from Seminyak is another well-loved beach, Kuta. It’s the perfect spot to wait for the sunset, so make sure to bring a mat with you when you visit. Travelers also love this area for its affordable hole-in-the-wall souvenir shops and boutiques. It’s actually one of the best places to buy rattan bags and other mementos for your friends back home.

3. Nusa Penida

If you love the great outdoors, then you should definitely take a day trip to Nusa Penida. It is a small island located south-east of Bali that’s home to the famous Kelingking Beach. Complete your tour by taking a side trip to Broken Beach and Angel’s Billabong, which offer a picturesque view of the sea.
