For the foodies: Jeonju and Myeongdong

The fascinating city of Jeonju is known for being the food capital of South Korea. Because of the different notable dishes it offers, each visit will surely be a superb gastronomic experience. Mainly, Jeonju is known to be the home of the famous gochujang (chili pepper paste) and bibimbap, which is a bowl of rice filled with various veggies and meat topped with a fried sunny side-up egg. It is every tourist and local’s comfort food, indeed.

Also, your Korean trip will never be complete without going on an evening street food crawl along the streets of Myeongdong. From gyeran-bbang (egg bread) and tteokboki (rice cakes) to Korean stir-fried noodles, you will find what you are craving for there.
